Video Games
Because of course we have a seperate section for video games! I love games as much as the next guy does, and they've been part of me for a lot of my life. While I don't remember what was the first thing I played, I have immense nostalgia for Super Mario Advance (a GBA remake of Mario Bros. 2), Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, and Clash of Clans.
Minerals
Collecting rocks as a kid has pulled me into this interest. There's so many minerals that all look so pretty! While they serve no purpose but to be put on display, seeing these unique rocks gives me immense satisfaction. I'm not a real collector, as these things don't come cheap - especially the nice looking ones. Not sure if purchasing a lump of rocks is worth the money yet, haha.
Technology
I'm very passionate about the workings of computers and programs, although I only have surface level knowledge of programming. I would like to make something cool one day! Going hand-in-hand with gaming, I assembled my very first desktop during the COVID lockdown period. In hindsight, when everyone is stuck in their homes the prices are bound to go way up, so despite my efforts in finding affordable parts, they were still moderately expensive anyways.
Music
I am quite picky when it comes to what music I enjoy. We had a lot of classical when growing up, so naturally my music interest took towards instrumentals and orchestrals. Besides that 80s rock is also an awesome genre, although I'm not a enough of a music person to name some pieces on the spot. Recently, Electro-Swing has taken my interest. I like music with a very clear and flowing melody. Music that leans heavily into the percussion (such as rap) or have a melody hard to follow (nightcore/hardcore/frenchcore, what are all these '-core' genres?) aren't quite my style.
Instruments
In the past I used to take piano lessons, but haven't touched up on it in years. I'd like to be able to play a few pieces I really like, so maybe one day I'll get back into it again. I've also wanted to learn a new instrument as well - as of the moment the violin is my main interest. I'm a big fan of orchestral music and violins play a big part in them, plus they just sound and look really nice. Very elegant! Composing is also something I want to try one day too!
Todos
Something you might notice is that I have a lot of "I'd like to"s. I want to do so many things, but can never stick to something long enough to accomplish anything, haha.
Here's a list of things I'd like to do, but haven't found the effort to truly "get into" yet:

- Re-learning the piano (and maybe also a new instrument?)

- Digital art
- Photography
- Making a website (I only work on this in 1 week spurts)
